Product Description

Introduction

Ferro Manganese.An alloy of manganese and iron. It is the most widely used and most used alloy, with a manganese content of about 70%. According to the different carbon content, it is divided into carbon, medium carbon and low carbon. The common carbon ferromanganese is dark gray, with blue yellow flashing color, with carbon content of 6% ~ 7%, needle like crystal and bubble hole section structure, and hard and brittle. Ferromanganese is mainly used as deoxidizer and desulfurizer in steelmaking, and is also an alloying element additive for smelting manganese containing steel. Ferromanganese section containing 10% ~ 25% manganese crystallizes and emits light like mirror, which is called mirror iron. However, due to the high content of impurities, it has little use. Ferromanganese produced in China is divided into blast furnace products and electric furnace products according to production methods, including 6 products such as Mn1 and 7 products such as MG1.

Application

Ferro Manganese.Generally, manganese ore, coke and lime containing manganese elements are melted in high temperature environment with sufficient reaction smelting and ferro manganese smelting due to the increase of coke. Because there is a certain amount of carbon element in this part, ferro manganese can be divided into low-carbon ferro manganese, Medium Carbon Ferro Manganese and high-carbon ferro manganese according to the content of carbon element.
